How to Get Nina Dobrev’s Shiny, Sleek Hairstyle

Nina Dobrev isn’t afraid to experiment with style. At Ian Somerhalder’s (her boyfiend and co-star) The Influence Affair event in Bel Air, she wore a dress that she had bought from a street vendor when she was on vacation in Hawaii.

While we can’t run out a get a copy of the super cute dress, we can achieve the same shiny, sexy look with our hair. Celebrity hairstylist Alicyn Blackman used black 15in1 Miracle Hair Treatment ($10 for 1 oz, $20 for 3.3 oz, blackin1.com) to create her hairstyle.

“I went for a polished wave for a beach-meets-glam look. I applied black 15in1 Miracle Hair Treatment from Nina’s roots to ends, then used my fingers to blow dry her hair until 75 percent of the moisture was out. I then used a boar bristle round brush to smooth and curl the ends. I finished off her look by using a 1.5 inch barrel curling iron. Then I brushed out her hair to bring all the curls together. A final spray of black 15in1 smoothed her flyaways and added great shine!”
