Things are really heating up in Cannes, France! We're not talking about the movie premieres, but the leading men who are steaming up the red carpets at the Cannes Film Festival: Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

Angelina Jolie's other half was at the festival (and rockin' a very "Colin Farrell in Miami Vice" look) to screen his movie, The Tree of Life with co-star, Jessica Chastain. Even though the film was reportedly booed, Pitt told reporters the only critics he cares about are his kids.

"I think of everything I do now that my kids are going to see when they grow up and how are they going to feel," he said. "But they know me as a dad and I hope they'll just think of me as a pretty damn good actor."

Meanwhile, a dapper-looking Johnny Depp continued to promote his new flick, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, with his sultry co-star, Penelope Cruz. At the press conference for the movie, Depp hinted that Jack Sparrow may never die. "If the people get tired of it or something, that’s when it stops, I think. If people want it, I’m there."
