Although he didn’t specifically blame Vince Vaughn during a live chat with Ellen DeGeneres this week, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper expressed his disappointment over the actor’s new film The Dilemma, in which the elementary school phrase “That’s so gay” is uttered.

I can’t believe the writers for that film thought it would be ok!
I remember watching Anderson and thinking who could be so stupid to think that’s okay to say on film.
I’ve seen so many people use that statement and not even mean it the way that people take it. I’m not saying it is right but children from 1st grade to 5th grade say that all the time. I asked them why and they simply stated, “Cause someone says that when something is silly.” I don’t think that children mean it negatively although I’m not sure how Anderson Cooper meant it as I didn’t see that.
I think it gets into kids’ minds that gay equals silly or stupid, so I don’t like it one bit. Vince Vaughn has turned into such a jerk. His movies are terrible.
