Help Your Community with Macy’s!
Too much time on your hands? Why not volunteer to help your community.
There are how many days of summer left? It’s time we get off the couch and do something with ourselves!
Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne have teamed up with New York-based teen nonprofit DoSomething.org and Macy’s to launch a back to school campaign that connects young people across the country and provides volunteer opportunities in their communities. Between August 8-15, head to Macy’s mystylelab departments (formerly juniors and young men’s) and scan the designated QR codes with your smarter-than-life phone to “rock the cause.”
Can’t stop Facebook creeping to help in-store? No worries! Simply “like” the mystylelab Facebook page to help. Macy’s will donate $1, up to a total of $250,000, to DoSomething.org for each scan and “like.”
Check out the public service announcement featuring Nick:
“I represent youth empowerment in whatever way you possibly can do it, whether that is in your community or for yourself. Do Something has always been a great channel, a great platform for kids to funnel their energy through,” Nick said. “I hope Do Something plays a major part in my kids’ lives.”
If feeling good and helping your community isn’t incentive enough, those who take the Do Something Cause quiz could win a $250 shopping spree from Macy’s while others may receive scholarships by DoSomething.org for the best submitted project.
You had us at shopping spree.
