Back in January, one of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's neighbors called the cops and reported a suspected kidnapping after seeing Montag rush into her house with a scarf covering her face.

Of course, she was just hiding her brand new surgically-enhanced features, but the authorities took the kidnapping claim very seriously.

Spencer Pratt said of the incident, "All we had been trying to do was to keep [Heidi's] face hidden from anyone possibly taking pictures outside the house because we were concerned about the legal ramifications from People magazine, who we had a deal with for the first photos post surgery."

Watch in the home video obtained by Radar Online as helicopters swarm the reality TV couple's house, and cops bang on their door. At first, it seems like kind of an elaborate joke put on by the fame-hungry duo, but when you see the cops force Pratt and Montag down to the ground and point loaded guns at them, it becomes much more serious.

Despite the misunderstanding, the couple doesn't hold a grudge against the LAPD, saying they were just doing their jobs. But if that were us, we'd have a hard time feeling comfortable in our own home. (Radar Online)
