It should come as little surprise that Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris’ May-December romance is now over, but if their 60-year age difference didn’t cause your eyes to roll, these newest developments certainly will…

Just when it seemed the Playboy founder couldn’t pull another trick from the pockets of his silk robes, Hef fooled us all again. First, the Playboy served his revenge on the front cover when he blemished his former fiancée’s picture-perfect cover with a giant “Runaway Bride In This Issue” sticker. If that wasn’t childish enough, Hefner wasted little time in replacing Harris by reinstalling not one, but three former Playmates into the infamous mansion. Twins Karrisa and Kristina Shannon, who both "dated" Hefner in the past, and Miss January 2011, Anna Berglund, are now snuggling with their AARP beau and licking his wounds…along with other things, we presume.

Much to our dismay, Harris hasn’t entirely stooped to the level of her ex-boss and lover, but she isn’t far from falling off the ledge. After getting cold stilettos a few days before their nuptials, the former Playmate of the Month released a terrible single, “Club Queen” to iTunes. In addition to her appearance on newsstands everywhere, Harris was seen poolside at the MGM Grand, soaking up the Vegas sun with Heidi Montag and other gal pals. There seemed to be no distraught on her sun-kissed face as she tanned and laughed in her signature bikini and heels.

Yesterday, Hef tweeted, “After all is said & done, staying single is probably for the best.” We concur. As the smoke from this trainwreck continues to billow over the Playboy mansion, there is one thing we can all be sure of when it comes to Hugh Hefner. Even at 85, he still has it.
