Tina Fey - Flawless skin

Tina Fey’s wine colored Oscar de la Renta dress was fetching enough, but her hairdo and flawless skin took her complete look to another level. Celebrity makeup artist Gita Bass used Votre Vu’s Tragic Magic Rescue Cream ($28, votrevu.com) to prep her skin, and Votre Vu Tout le Monde Antioxidant eye gelee ($24.50, votrevu.com) under eyes and brow bone. This is always a good idea, ladies, because your dress, eyes and hair are what people tend to look at first. Her lipstick was not overdone, but subtle and sexy. Bass used Champagne Kisses ($20.30, votrevu.com) Lip Enhancing Balm to prevent the lipstick from feathering.

Evan Rachel Wood - Glossy lips

The Mildred Pearce starlet shone in a Gucci Premiere gown, but Evan Rachel Wood's makeup rocked our socks off. A clean and soft makeup, courtesy of Toby Fleishmann for NARS Cosmetics paired with a noticeably glossy lip paired beautifully with her romantic tousled updo. To get the exact look, use NARS Paramaribo eye shadow ($33, narscosmetics.com) which is new for spring 2012, for a gilded gold and bronze soft metallic eye. Fleischman used the new NARS Gaiety blush ($27, narscometics.com)for a pop of color on the cheeks, the Sex Machine Velvet Matte lip pencil ($24, narscometics.com) topped off with Como Larger Than Life lip gloss ($26, narscosmetics.com) for that soft mauve lippie. The look was fresh without being too jarring, and elegant enough for the red carpet. Props!

Zooey Deschanel - A soft, smoky eye

Talk about a smokin’ hot eye! Celeb makeup artist Jorjee Douglass gave Zooey Deschanel a stunning, soft smoky cat eye for the actress by giving her an overall look that was young, playful but completely sexy. Use Rimmel London’s Glam’Eyes Professional liquid liner ($7.79, soap.com) on top of the eye lid and add a feathered line at the bottom. Top the liner off with Glam’Eyes HD Quad Eyeshadow in Black Cab and English Rose ($5.42, drugstore.com) for that soft smoky eye. For truly significant lashes, Jorgee recommends using the Lash Accelerator mascara ($7.97, walmart.com). We liked the fact that her lips were not overdone so the spotlight was on her hair and eyes. Deschanel wore the Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick in Nude Pink ($5.39, walgreens.com).

Sofia Vergara - Plum-riffic color!

Sofia Vergara could have worn nothing but a gunny sack and wooed us with her accent on the red carpet, but we were wowed by the Modern Family star's overall look, too. Celebrity makeup artist Kayleen McAdams chose a bright plum lip while keeping the eyes soft with bronze shadow, and multiple coats of mascara. McAdams used COVERGIRL’s TRUconceal concealer #4 ($7.99, covergirl.com) under the eyes and around the nose, the NatureLuxe Silk Foundation in Nutmeg ($9.58, amazon.com) to create a flawless canvas. We loved the choice of plum shades (rather than red) on the actress’ warm skin tones. Try the Cheekers blush in Plumberry Glow ($3.99, drugstore.com), LipPerfection Lipcolor in Everlasting ($5.59, drugstore.com) and then LipPerfection Lipliner in Beloved ($5.59, amazon.com) to complete your look.

Kate Winslet - A shimmering, soft look

Lancôme ambassadress Kate Winslet looked sophisticated yet ready to tear the house down. Her look from the Golden Globes was created by Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey. Kate’s look, shimmering, soft and sophisticated, was achieved by using taupe and champagne shades on the eyes and rich mascara for extra definition. Use Lancôme’s Hypnôse Doll Lashes Mascara in So Black! ($24,99, amazon.com) , Teint Idole 24H Foundation (March launch), Stila Convertible Color in Lillium ($25,amazon.com), and Lancôme Lipstick in Delicate Lace ($29, nordstrom.com) to get Winslet’s exact look.

Frieda Pinto - Ode to the 60’s (with a twist)

The Slumdog Millionaire actress looked absolutely stunning in her Prada gown and her retro 60’s style hairdo channeled Ali McGraw. For a soft, smoky eye, try L’Oreal’s One Sweep eye shadow for brown eyes ($9.24, amazon.com) that gives you an instantly multi-hued look. For a blush that works with Indian skin tones, MAC Cosmetics Sur ($19.50, maccosmetics.com) is a good bet.
