When we first saw the trailer for Water for Elephants (in theaters Friday), starring Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, and Christoph Waltz, we were entranced by the work of costume designer Jacqueline West. Reese's character is outfitted in gorgeous gowns and classically styled ensembles, which evoke that Old Hollywood glamour. Although the movie takes place during the beginning of the Great Depression, the styles in it are timeless.
Here, we picked three of Reese's looks from the film and found modern-day pieces to help you recreate them.
