Get Florence Welch’s 2012 LACMA Art & Film Gala Look

Florence Welch looked glorious at the LACMA Art & Film Gala held in LA on Saturday. Her hair, Gucci gown, accessories and makeup were perfect. In fact, Florence didn’t look overdone with her makeup. It was used to emphasize her natural beauty. Want to get that sexy, clean and subtle look for yourself? You’re in luck! Makeup artist Lisa Aharon created the look and gave us step-by-step directions on how to do it at home.
Then she applied Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Crème Compact SPF 20 in Nude ($45, lauramercier.com) all over Welch’s face. To even out Florence’s skin tone, Lisa used Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage #3 ($30, lauramercier.com) under the eyes and to conceal any spots, alongside Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Tender Rose ($36, lauramercier.com). For a natural glow on the cheeks, Lisa applied Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Wild Bouquet ($24, lauramercier.com) on the apples of Florence’s cheeks.
For Florence’s eyes, Lisa blended Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Gold ($22, nordstrom.com) up to the crease. She then applied a combination of Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour in Gilded Bronze ($24) and Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour in Gilded Moonlight ($24, sephora.com) on top of the crème. She lined Welch’s eyes with Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeliner in Chestnut ($22, us.spacenk.com) and applied Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara ($24, lordandtaylor.com) to her curled top lashes. For Florence’s brows, she used Laura Mercier Eye Brow Pencil in Blonde ($20, bloomindales.com).
To finish off the look Lisa then applied Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Sienna ($26, bloomingdales.com).
