From Amandla Stenberg to Chloe Grace Moretz: 10 Actresses to Watch In 2013
The New Year will ring in a fresh crop of young, up-and-coming actresses. We can’t wait to see what these gals have in store!
Though Hollywood is never short on would-be leading ladies, only a few of them ever make the cut. These 10 talented starlets, though? Let’s just say that we’re pretty sure they’ll soon be household names—that is, if they aren’t already! Complete with kickass resumes and unbeatable drive, these gals have definitely got it going on.
1. Bella Thorne
You may remember this now-15-year-old for her role as an aspiring dancer on the 2010 Disney Channel series Shake It Up. With close to 2 million fans on Facebook and a lead role in Buttermilk Sky (which is slated for a November 2013 release), Bella Thorne’s star is shining bright.
2. Amandla Stenberg
Who could forget Amandla Stenberg’s heartbreaking performance as the wide-eyed, ill-fated Rue in 2012’s blockbuster film, The Hunger Games? Equally as impressive, she handled the flood of racist tweets against her with grace. The 14-year-old released a statement thanking her fans for their support, leaving her attackers to drown in the venom of their bigotry. We’re anxiously awaiting Stenberg’s next move –and we expect it’ll be a good one!
