Etienne Aigner’s distinctive bags, shoes and belts, all adorned with their distinctive brass “A” have long been a fashion classic. The designs comfortably straddled preppy and chic: moms bought them, daughters stole them.

After going dark for six months, the brand is back. Bigger, sexier and more lust-worthy than before. The other night I had the privilege to view their fall line. Items ranged from leather cuffs with square gold buckles to brushed gold statement necklace with faux amber stones to spiked bracelets. And the bags! Oh the bags. So easy to fall in love with! There was a small black pony hair clutch with a dull brushed gold turnlock, a stunning olive suede satchel with burgundy leather trim, an ivory top-stitched bag, teal, red and nude moc croc bags and clutches. Oh and petty-ably soft wallets and more.

While I could go on and on describing everything, I’d probably make you a little nuts, because not one of the new jewels or bags will be in the stores until fall! Boo.

All I can tell you is to circle your calendars for August, then hit the stores!

PS- I have a confession to make; I was one of those kids whose mom had to hide her Aigners.
