Tori Spelling’s husband and fellow reality-show star Dean McDermott has been seriously injured in a dirt bike accident. He is currently in intensive care being treated for a punctured and collapsed lung. This is his second motorcycle accident this year.

“He’s in a lot of pain,” Spelling said of her husband. “He’s taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life.”

McDermott’s hobby has caused the couple strife in the past. On their show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, McDermott fractured his shoulder in a motorcycle accident and agreed to quit professional racing. Now, it looks like he may be giving up this hobby for good.

“When I first saw him he just softly said ‘I’m so sorry,’” Spelling recalls. "I just held his hand and cried. That's when he said, ‘I’ll never do this again. You and the kids mean everything to me.’”

McDermott will be stuck in ICU for a few more days, but he is expected to make a full recovery. (People)
