Jersey Model Dress

Designer Walter Baker's line Walter is worn by Jessica Alba, Britney Spears, Rachel Bilson, the Olsen Twins and more. The reason why his clothing is so popular is that he really loves women. Walter's designs gently embrace a woman's form and caress her figure. Slip on any item and suddenly, you look fantastic.

Which is why we were so ecstatic when we found out that his jersey model dress ($132, shopwalter.com) was reduced from $188.

You could wear this dress now and later on. Here's a few suggestions- top it with a blazer for work. Wear it with long chains and over the knnee boots at night. When it gets colder wear it under a chunky sweater and add visual interest with patterned tights. When it's warmer it would look cute with sandals or platforms. The more you wear it, the less it costs. No, we're not shopaholics....nope!

It's a very cute dress but I just don't think I have the right body type.

That's a hot little dress. It would certainly pull in one's waistline.

That's what I need--a waist!

Hmmm... My first thought was that I didn't like it. It may be the pose of the mannequin, but the lines look asymmetrical.I think it might actually be really cute on an real person, though. I think the white stripes resemble a jacket or cardigan while blocking out the hips and the gray stripes draw the attention to the center. It is a very clever design.

I'm not sure I like it but I imagine the curved lines will give my bulky frame some visual curviness so I would need to try it on first.

I love the dress but I think everything is made for super skinny people. One little bump or bulge and you can see it for the average person.
