Okay, we’ve all heard that some celebrities like Mariah Carey, David Beckham, Rihanna and Mary Hart have insured their legs. Other celebrities or the companies they represent have taken out insurance policies on everything from smiles to mustaches! Who’s doing the insuring, it’s usually Lloyds of London who makes these policies. Here’s a round up of who’s got what insured.
Hair

Proctor and Gamble insured Pittsburg Steelers safety Troy Polamalu’s long wild locks for $1 million dollars. Why? Because he’s the spokesperson for their Head & Shoulders shampoo. Supposedly Singer Tom Jones has insured his chest hair for $7 million dollars.
Boobs

ABC News once reported that Dolly Parton insured her breasts for $600,000. That’s $300,000 per boob. A topless dancer by the name of Carol Doda insured hers for $1.5 million dollars.

Gene Simmons insured his tongue for $1million. He’s not alone. Food critic Egon Ronay insured his for $400,000.

Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones has insured his middle finger on his left hand for $1.6 million dollars.

Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera had her smile insured for $10 million dollars by Aqua Fresh when she was the spokesperson for their White Trays product.
