The MTV Movie Awards have a long history of hilarious sketches to fill the space between award presentations (Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar’s 2002 The Lord of the Rings send-up, anyone?. This one with Community’s Joel McHale as the world’s worst archery teacher? Classic! Hunger Games star and Best Female Performance winner Jennifer Lawrence and Star Trek director J. J. Abrams also put in hilarious turns as the straight men to Joel’s wacky “Lester Boonshaft” (what a name!).

3. Charlize Theron vs. Michael Fassbender: Aaaaaand FIGHT!

You have NO IDEA how much I wish I had a video of this one for you, but alas, none were to be found. Suffice to say that Prometheus co-stars Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender’s presentation of the Best Fight award didn’t go quite as Michael had planned (or had it?). “I was thinking since I’m Irish, I would just handle this one,” he told her onstage. “Yeah, you know, fighting Irish and all that. And considering you’re a girl and all that.” Cue the (actually planned) beat-down!
