Or maybe losing really, really badly. Because yes, it’s true: Last week, Charlie Sheen Tweeted his phone number to his followers. Aaaaaaall 5, 586,350 of them. Who then retweeted it to all of their followers. Whoops.

Although this might seem like a typically Charlie Sheen thing to do, to be fair, it WAS an accident; he was intending to direct message Justin Bieber, but managed somehow to send it out to the world at large instead. Naturally, the Tweet has since been taken down, but according to the Daily Mail, the message read, “310-954-7277 Call me bro. C.” Charlie has said this about the Biebs in the past: 

So I guess the two are pretty tight now. Or something.

Anyway, the New York Post reported that Charlie was at the Michelin-starred restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas when the incident happened. A “spy” (such lovely terms the Post uses!) told the paper, “Charlie’s phone immediately went into meltdown. It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes.” At least Charlie seems to have had a sense of humor about the whole thing; the “spy” went on, “[He] saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like ‘Ray’s Pizza’ and ‘Winning.’”

The novelty wore off after a short while, though; after a few minutes of constant ringing and buzzing, Charlie apparently said, “I guess I need a new phone.” He seems to have done that, by the way—dialing the Tweeted number now just leads to a standard “this number is out of service” message. Indeed, Charlie’s rep told the Post, “I haven’t been able to get through to him on the phone since Wednesday. He just got a new number.” Um, Charlie? It might be a good idea to give your agent your new number.

The Biebs' response? "WINNING!", of course.
