BettyConfidential checked out the amfAR benefit Wednesday night at Cipriani Wall Street in Manhattan and spotted handsome Richard Gere congratulating former President Bill Clinton on receiving the amfAR Award of Courage for his foundations leadership and contribution in the fight against AIDS.

President Clinton was presented the award by daughter Chelsea Clinton who spoke at the event saying, “The work he has done, the work he is doing and the work he will continue to do for AIDS research is invaluable.”  Also honored were Elizabeth Taylor and designer Diane von Furstenberg.
