Celebrity Flashback: Jennifer Aniston’s Free-Spirited High School Years (Pics!)
New photos have surfaced of Jennifer Aniston before she was famous, circa the early ‘80s. Take a look inside!
Do you enjoying seeing pictures of stars before they were famous? Heck, who doesn’t? And lucky you, we’ve got just the thing for you today!
Our pals at Celebuzz have managed to get their hands on a pile of photos of Jennifer Aniston way back when. The pics date from the early ‘80s and mostly chronicle her years at the Rudolf Steiner School in New York. Practicing what’s known as Waldorf education, the school takes a humanistic approach to pedagogy: Learning is interdisciplinary, it emphasizes the role of imagination in learning, and the goal is to help give young people the basis on which to develop into free, morally responsible, integrated individuals.
Sound lofty? A little, but it also sounds like a fun way to learn. Furthermore, if she hadn’t attended Rudolf Steiner, she might never have found her way to Hollywood. Jennifer once said, “I was always fascinated by acting, but my experience [at Rudolf Steiner] encouraged me to pursue it as a career.” She continued, “Steiner was a free-spirited school that encouraged creativity and individualism.”
Let’s take a look, shall we? Be prepared for ‘80s hair and lots of flannel!
