Is it just us, or does it seem like every celebrity ever has had a baby lately? Apparently they all conceived at the same time, because a whole bunch of them have given birth during August and September. Guess November and December were particularly fertile months. Anyway, we decided to keep a running tally of all the new babies and their famous parents, so for your edification, here’s a guide to all the little celebrity bundles of joy that have entered the world recently.

Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley

The Sherlock Holmes director and his girlfriend, model Jacqui Ainsley, welcomed a son on Monday, September 5. The baby ended up being delivered via emergency C-section due to his insistence on arriving a few days sooner than was expected; however, both mother and child are doing well. They haven’t decided on a name yet, but given that Ritchie’s first son (with Madonna) is named Rocco, it’s probably going to be something… interesting.

Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte

Scary Spice gave birth to her own Baby Spice on September 1. While both Mel and hubby Stephen Belafonte have children from previous relationships, this is their first child together. Mel’s 12-year-old daughter Phoenix has been tasked with naming the new baby girl; no word on what she’s decided yet. Since Phoenix’s younger sister is named Angel, we kind of hope that the third one will be named after a winged creature, too. Then they’ll have a whole menagerie of fantastical beings.

Benicio and Kimberly may not be a couple, but both are super gung-ho about raising their baby girl, Delilah. Delilah arrived at the end of August—on Kimberly’s 32nd birthday. Now that’s what we call a birthday present!

Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond

The 30 Rock star, already mother to Alice, who’s jaunty walk became an Internet meme in recent months, delivered her second daughter on August 10. The baby’s name? Penelope Athena. We expect epic, goddess-like things from her. While she was pregnant, Fey famously joked on Ellen that they were going to let the baby’s gender be a surprise: “I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom.” Child-rearing as gender experiment? It could work!
