As the Gulf Coast oil-spill disaster enters its third month, talk show host Larry King will host a two-hour telethon on CNN tonight, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT.
The telethon will raise funds for the nonprofit organization The Nature Conservancy, the National Wildlife Federation and the United Way. The groups are working in the Gulf to combat the unprecedented damage done to businesses, wildlife and natural environments following the worst environmental disaster in the nation’s history. After eleven workers were killed in an explosion in April, tens of millions of gallons of oil have flooded into the Gulf of Mexico.

I will definitely be watching.
The politicians who accepted campaign contributions from BP employees should donate an equivalent amount to the telethon.
