Attention, American Cancer Society: Hilary Duff could well be your poster-child for skin cancer awareness. The star and her pro hockey boyfriend, Mike Comrie, just returned from a romantic getaway on the island of Maui, Hawaii - and they came back to L.A. looking pale as a sheet (and not for the reasons you're thinking!).

Friends tell me when she was teased about it, Hilary (who's set to guest star on Gossip Girl) admitted that she and Mike spent their time in Maui under umbrellas and covered in sunscreen, but shortly after they returned, Hilary called Fake Bake to have their mobile tanning service come to her Toluca Lake home. The two of them were sprayed down with deep tans so they would actually look like they had been in Maui when they attended a July 4th party with Hilary's mom and sister, Haylie.

A pal says the lovey-dovey pair is definitely looking ahead to the future. "Hilary wants children and certainly plans on getting married," the insider says. "Mike is her choice and they are so close. She wants to marry him. They are in no rush, but he is her future. He gets along great with her mother and sister and that is the most important step when dating Hilary. Mike is already a part of their family."
