In honor of this past weekend’s tragic anniversary, quarterback Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets found an amazing way to commemorate 9/11: He recently released a line of vintage-inspired t-shirts aimed to support the families of first responders and rescue workers. Inscribed with the moving message “You Go, We Go,” the shirts are more than just cool wardrobe additions; they’re also motivating symbols of unity. Sanchez’s father, Nick Sanchez, is a part of the Federal Management Agency Task Force as well as a veteran firefighter, so we’ve also got him to thank for this brilliant idea.

And to make a good thing even better, all of the proceeds from the shirts’ sales will go to the New York Police and Fire Widow’s & Children’s Benefit Fund and the FDNY Foundation, getting funding and support to the families of departed rescue workers.
