Bruce Willis and Veterans

Mr. Die Hard himself, Bruce Willis, was on board the famous USS Intrepid in New York City last night to salute the troops in honor of Veteran's Day.

The "Truth in Vodka" event was hosted by Sobieski, the popular Polish vodka brand, which Willis is part-owner of (he used to be a bartender, after all). Guests and veterans of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and other Armed Forces mingled in Hangar Three of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum as they sipped on various flavors of Sobieski and awaited the arrival of the best action hero there is.

"I couldn't be more excited to be here tonight," Bruce said when he finally took the stage. "This is a great opportunity to thank everyone who is here tonight who has served in the Armed Forces and the veterans who've come out tonight. Thank you so much. Really, thank you. I dont get to say this enough, I really do love America."

He followed his speech with a toast, and took a shot and shook hands with a select group of men in uniform. His appearance was brief, but well worth the wait.

To all the men and women who've served, we join Bruce Willis in wishing you a happy Veteran's Day. Cheers!

I'm glad Bruce is showing some love to the troops. We forget about them too often.
