Bindya New York Is Bringing Back Vera Scarves-A Vintage Lover’s Must-Have!
Long sought after, and hard to find, vintage Vera scarves are coming back thanks to Bindya New York.
Vera scarves were incredibly popular in the ’60s and ’70s. Marilyn Monroe was just one of her huge celeb fans! Vera Neumann’s silk scarves in bright colors, semi-abstract and floral designs were all the rage. At one corner of the scarf as a lady bug nestled next to Vera’s signature. Nowadays if you can score a vintage Vera scarf it’s considered a serious “find” by vintage-holics and lovers of retro wear.
You’ll no longer have to dig through bins because her designs are coming back! “I have always been fascinated by Vera’s designs and prints. The pops of bright color, bold patterns, and whimsical prints have completely drawn me in,” stated designer Bindya Lulla in a press release. “I am so excited to revive the timeless Vera archives and release them during a time when scarves have become a must-have accessory.”
Bindya New York will be bringing two new collections: The Lady Bug Collection and The Signature Collection by Vera to stores this spring. Prices range from $87.50 to $175. Scarves come in silk twill, silk Habutai, silk chiffon, modal, 100 percent cashmere, modal cashmere and a silk/wool blend. Sizes range from 40 x 40 squares to large 40 x 80 trailing scarves.
Lots of brilliant color to look forward to!
