Billboard Awards Red Carpet Style: The Best, the Worst and the Meh
What was funnier last night? Host Ken Jeong or the clothing on the red carpet?
“Need You Now” by Lady Antebellum won another award last night for Country Song of the Year. Rihanna and Britney Spears opened the show with a remix of Riri’s “S&M” tune (loved the black bunny ear mask that Britney wore). It was cool that Bono said that Beyonce, “fulfilled her destiny.” And who didn’t get chills when Beyonce said, “Ladies, let’s build a revolution,” before she started singing “Run the World (Girls)”? And how many people tried to memorize those dance moves? Beyonce picked up the Millennium Award, presented to her by her mommy.
The big trend on the red carpet was nude heels. We saw nude pumps, nude sandals, even nude gladiators. So…where did Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Nicole Kidman, Kesha and other celebs land in the best and worst list? Did they rock the red carpet, have outfits that made us yawn, or do they need to go to styling school?
Hawt! Hawt! Keri Hilson looks superb in a brilliant yellow dress with a teal belt and nude gladiator heels.
Okay, what’s a best dressed list without Taylor Swift? She’s glowing in a bronze Elie Saab gown.
Whoa! This is Selena Gomez? Where’s the tiny cutie from Wizards of Waverly Place? Love the red sandals peeping out from the way sexy black Dolce & Gabbana gown.
She may have a set of killer legs, but Rihanna looks just as dashing and sexy in this creamy suit. The nude Louboutin pumps are a great accessory.
Aaaammmmaaazzzzing! Kelly Rowland is stunning in a honeysuckle Herve Leger dress. Love the nude sandals!
The illusion dress really showcases Kylie Minogue’s great shape. Just wish she had opted for a lighter shoe or sandal.
Another great dress, another heavy shoe. Even so, Michelle Williams looks really glam.
Up next, Kesha, Mary J. Blige, the bad and the boring too!
