Betty Celebrates With Whitney Port!

The star of MTV’s ‘The City’ unveiled her new clothing line with Piperlime, and Betty joined the party!

On Wednesday night, I hit up the Piperlime pop-up store in SoHo to celebrate the debut of Whitney Port’s new capsule collection, Whitney Eve For Piperlime. The store was bright and bursting with energy right from the get-go. I couldn’t wait for a night of fashion, music, snacking and guilt-free browsing.

Whitney’s collection was on display at the front of the store. Right away I thought, “girly-girl meets party girl.” Whitney’s paired frills with metallics and lace with short hemlines. Her pieces were ultra-femme with a touch of sass.

Whitney caused a near-riot when she finally arrived. Despite the pouring rain, she looked just as gorgeous and tall as she does on TV. She arrived wearing her own Lana Mini Dress ($264, piperlime.com). Whitney was all-smiles as she mingled, hugged and snapped pics with her lucky fans.

Before heading out, I took one last look at Whit’s Strapless Bow Dress ($218, piperlime.com). I caved—I had to try it on. Between the metallic gold top and the sexy hemline, all I could think was, “Hello perfect New Year’s Eve dress!”
