Beauty Road Test: The Body Shop Beautifying Oil
It’s a dry oil (yes, they do exist) that you can use almost everywhere.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard about the efficacy of beauty oils for like forever. Thing is, I never really wanted to try them because, well, they’re oily!
I got brave and tried The Body Shop’s Beautifying Oils ($14, thebodyshop-usa.com) in Shea Butter. After a shower, a small amount on your legs (or any body part) makes them feel smooth instantly. I tried it on my hair: To stop flyaways, it worked. I also used it on my face, under my moisturizer as an extra boost. The oil sunk into my skin instantly.
No matter where I put it: my feet, elbows, hands, hair, the dry oil was instantly absorbed and felt weightless.
The Body Shop Beautifying Oils are made with three lightweight oils—Kukui, Sweet Almond and Community Fair Trade Marula Nut oil. They come in 11 different fragrances. The oils quickly get rid of dryness, add a touch of radiance to your skin or hair, and as I mentioned before makes everything feel silky soft. Go ahead and adorn yourself with the light scent of strawberries, Satsuma, Sweet Lemon or Mango!
