Beauty Road Test: Softsoap Body Buff Wash, Vineyard Escape
The Vineyard Escape bodywash is sinfully delish and no, it doesn’t smell like wine.
Who doesn’t love a hot, steamy shower? You stand there under the water and every annoying thing that happend to you during the day just melts away. A shower that’s redolent of a fragrance that’s fresh and enticing is a bonus. To make it even better, add a skin-softening body scrub and you have a winner. Then, the only problem is getting out of the shower!
Softsoap Vineyard Escape scrub body wash ($4.49, drugstore.com) will give you that relaxing and rejuvenating experence, No, it doesn’t smell like wine. It has a fruity, fresh scent that’s subtle and uplifting.Suspended in the body wash are itty bitty beads that gently scrub away dead skin. Vineyard Escape contains exfoliating fruit seed and Grapeseed Oil, which is probably why it smells so good and does a great job. After one use you’ll notice that your skin feels so soft, smells yummy and you kinda feel, well, fabulous.
One thing I noticed about this body wash, is that you don’t need a lot for it to work its magic. A little does go a long way. This is a good thing, as who hasn’t spent oodles of money on a body wash or scrub and you’ve used, oh like half of it for one shower. One bottle should last you a few months. So, you’re really getting a lot of bang for your buck.
I have sensitive skin and after multiple uses, nary an itch nor a hive has appeared. It’s become my fave body wash in a very short time.
