Beauty Road Test: Maskeraide Beauty Masks
Vegan and eco-friendly Maskeriade masks enrich your skin in seconds.
Are you there, god? I’ve got a skin confession to make here! Believe it or not, my skin is EXTREMELY bipolar. I mean it has more mood swings than my menopausal mother. One day it’s bright and breezy, kinda like my preppy-wannabe high school days, and the next it’s back with a vengeance from break-out hell!
Here’s where the Maskeraide masks come in handy! The complete Maskeraide mask line can save the day, any type of day you’re having. And at $4.99 per mask, they’re a fab beauty bargain too. Did I mention that they’re Paraben free, mineral oil free, pigment free, artificial Fragrance free,Glycerin free, vegan friendly and eco- friendly–they’re chockfull of goodness! In around 10 minutes your skin bounces back to looking gorgeous again.
First mask out of my box of goodies comes the Detox Diva. It’s a harmonious blend of seaweed and geranium. Perfect for when your skin is on the brink of insanity. Need some R&R? Beauty Rest’ore is MEGA awesome right before bedtime. The Argan oil and green algae helped soften my skin and leaving it baby soft smooth in the morning.
The I Don’t Wanna Grow Up mask is super FABU and keeps skin tight and dewy. And how about that party-hardy night ya had last night gorgeous? Don’t worry there’s a mask for that too–The All Nighter. Can’t say i’m exactly a partying princess but alas, it’s always a treat to watch those morning puffy eyes instantly vanish.
So you wanna get this party started? Say aloha to the Pre-Party Prep Mask. Now I TOTALLY love this mask. I love the way it smells and how super duper bright it makes my skin look. Not to mention velvety-soft smooth. Forget the primer; this is all the prep time you’ll need. Equally fabulous is the Weather Warrior. By pairing aloe and witch hazel it helps shield your skin from the elements.
Now here comes the fun part—the application. Maskeraide masks have detailed instructions, but be careful. Make sure you read every single step before you get your masking on. The masks are called, “sheet masks.” They kinda look like a face mask from a horror movie, but unlike those, these masks are good for you. They fit over your entire face. You don’t have to glop anything on your skin. The mask holds it all in place.
Now, the instructions state that it will perfectly fit your face. When I put it on, I struggled a little bit getting it in place. Maybe I truly am a clumsy Courtney, but it was a tad bit difficult to put on. By the second or third mask, I finally got the hang of it. All of Maskeraides fantastically fabulous masks can be found online at maskeraide.com.
