When we weren’t hobbling around in our best stilettos during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, we had the chance to catch up with a style-savvy blonde named Barbie. And she was quite the doll! She dished about her favorite spring/summer 2013 styles, life with Ken, and her bid in the 2012 presidential election–proving that life in plastic really is fantastic.

Betty Confidential: What are the MB Fashion Week styles you love right now?

Barbie: I heart all of the fab patterns and colors coming from Kate Spade NY–statement pieces are always a must!

BC: We’ve all been guilty of a style faux pas or two. What are your biggest fashion mishaps?

B: When I look back at pictures from the ‘70s and ‘80s I definitely giggle at some of my fashion choices, but I’ve always loved my clothes in the moment. So guilty of a fashion faux pas? No!
