Talk about the most awkward plane ride ever: On a flight from LA to New Orleans on Sunday, newlywed Kris Humphries ended up seated across the aisle from R&B singer Ray J, who, you may recall, is Kim Kardashian’s ex. But it gets better: Not only is he her ex, but he’s THAT ex. The one she made the sex tape with. Being trapped on a plane next to the guy featured in your wife's sex tape? Boy, doesn’t THAT sound fun!

The New York Post reported that Kris boarded in Minneapolis, only to realize after he had settled down that Ray J sat across the aisle from him. After holding tight for a minute, Kris, understandably, got up and moved to a seat further up front. I guess the flight wasn’t that crowded.

To make things even MORE awkward, though, Ray J actually approached Kris later on to congratulate him on his marriage. Kris pretended not to recognize him at first; but eventually he broke down and, according to a witness, apologized to Ray J and accepted the kind words.

I wonder what Kris thinks about the fact that a “mystery buyer” has recently tried to nab the tape from Vivid Entertainment? Given that the buyer in question wants to acquire it in order to take it off the market, maybe Kris can get behind it (metaphorically. See what we did there?). UNLESS... Kris is actually the mystery buyer himself? Hey, it could happen!
