Angelina Jolie has been spending the last month in New York filming her secret agent thriller, SALT.  She’s tumbled down the steps of St. Bartholomew’s church, dashed around barefoot and done it all solo with only minor characters joining her in scenes.  Next month that all changes when Kamar de los Reyes takes on the formidable job of acting opposite Angie.  Kamar has given up his starring role as Detective Antonio Vega on the ABC hit, One Life to Live after 14 years.

My movie sources tell me, "Kamar decided to end his contract with OLTL a few months ago and auditioned immediately for the spy/action part.  He impressed everyone and landed the job.”

The 41 year-old star is extremely excited about his new role.  “It is a huge opportunity and he will be in scenes with Angelina and Liev Schreiber.  His scenes film in May and June."

The leading spy role was originally going to be for Tom Cruise and titled Edwin A. Salt, but when the top gun backed out, they swapped the male role for a female and convinced Angelina to play the part.
