There’s an all out American Idol judge swap going down!

With Ellen DeGeneres begging to get out of her contract, Jennifer Lopez has inked a deal to replace her. Meanwhile, Kara DioGuardi would love to keep her job over at Idol but may have been given the ax.

Unfortunately for Kara, her contract is only on a season-to-season basis. Word is she’s been fired and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler will be replacing the void left by her and Simon Cowell, who just wrapped his final season on the Idol.

Could it be true? If this is really the new all-star panel of judges we just might have to start tuning in again.

Idol is so over-- they are really digging deep trying to save it.

i never liked kara... but the show won't be the same w/o simon. i think ryan's gonna be forced to carry it now that all the good judges are gone.

I can't stand Kara DioAguardi therefore her being fired does'nt bother me at all. American Idol is basically not even worth watching anymore the last set of contestants with the exception of Crystal Bowersox( who in my opnion should have won it ) and Mochael Lynch the rest of them basically sucked. They really need to pick some better talent . Alot of people are not watching the show much anymore.
