You guys! Kristen Bell just Tweeted the most awesome photo ever! The House of Lies star hosting the CMT Music Awards tonight with Toby Keith, so naturally, she’s gearing up to go all red carpet glam. As a special treat to her Twitter followers, she sent out the following message…

Oh, Kristen. You’re such a joker.
This, of course, is not Kristen’s CMT Awards look. It’s a photo from her childhood, and it’s HILARIOUS. Unfortunately we don’t have much more context than that; I really wish we did, though, so here’s what I’m going to assume is going on here: She looks to be between six and eight years old, and I like to imagine that she’s costumed for a school play or something (I mean, how else do you explain all the spangles and makeup?). Her haircut is somewhat unfortunate, but hey. It was the ‘80s. Strange things happened in the ‘80s. It’s also possible that it’s Halloween, but the absence of any pumpkin paraphernalia might shoot that theory down.
