This week it was reported that women in the East African country of Somalia were publicly whipped for wearing bras.

According to a report by Fox News, the extreme Islamist group al Shabaab gathered women who were thought of as having firm breasts in the city of Mogadishu, and, wearing masks, flogged them for what the Islamist leaders call “deception.”

“They first banned the former veil and introduced a hard fabric which stands stiffly on women’s chests. They are now saying that breasts should be firm naturally, or just flat,” said a woman whose daughters were whipped for wearing bras.

The brutal insurgent group recently amputated a hand and foot from two young men who were accused of robbery as well. (Fox News)
