Sarah Palin

Former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is aiming to get back to the top and just might succeed if her upcoming memoir Going Rogue is well liked.

A staggering 1.5 million copies of the cleverly named title - priced at $28.99 - will be distributed on November 17, which is quite a gamble on the publishing house’s part.

Sure she’s a favorite of conservatives and Saturday Night Live performers, but can she reach – and make money from – a broader audience? Palin and her publishers are betting you betchya.

MarketWatch.com reports: “If the book flies off shelves at the stores, we will know – for sure – that Palin has commercial appeal .... That's when you'll see the media lining up to ask her to host television and radio programs. And Palin-mania will once again go full throttle.”

Looks like we may soon be hearing a lot more from the ex governor of Alaska. (MarketWatch)
