Would you buy this doll for your daughter?

The trendy American Girls line is presently under scrutiny for releasing a doll named “Gwen,” who is homeless.
After hearing of the new creation CBS correspondent Hattie Kauffman visited an L.A. shelter to obtain reactions to the highly controversial doll which costs a whopping $95.
“The whole concept to be extremely disturbing,” one homeless advocate told Kauffman. “It's not a doll I would ever buy for a child."
There are currently between 7,000 and 10,000 children without homes in the Los Angeles area alone.
A second shelter resident said, "I don't even see why you would make a homeless doll, anyway,” if it wasn’t part of a charity to raise money for shelters.
What do you make of the Gwen doll? Has it changed your opinion of the American Girls brand? (Huffington Post)
