Betty on the News: Miley Cyrus' Alleged Stalker Dodges Felony Charges
Mark McLeod isn't exactly guilty, but he isn't quite innocent either.

A 53-year-old man accused of stalking Miley Cyrus managed to sidestep felony charges during a hearing on Wednesday, according to E! Online.
A Georgia grand jury refused to prosecute Mark McLeod as they believed that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove he targeted the Disney star -- despite the fact that he had referred to Cyrus as his fiancée, was putting money aside for a diamond ring, told authorities that the 16-year-old communicated with him through his TV, and was arrested twice for following Miley to her Georgia movie set.
Even though McLeod wasn’t indicted on felony stalking charges prosecutors are wanting to move the case to state court, where he “will face misdemeanor charges of criminal attempt to commit stalking and disorderly conduct,” according to the site.
McLeod is presently in jail on $55,200 bond. (E! Online)
