Diana Taylor and Titan

A woman who adopted a pup from the Middle Tennessee Great Dane Rescue a few years back had no clue that her best buddy would grow up to earn the title of the world’s largest dog.

Titan, a 4-year-old Great Dane, stands just over 3 ½ feet tall and that isn’t even counting his head, Guinness Book of World Records spokesperson Stuart Claxton revealed Thursday.

The San Diego-based canine is deaf, blind, epileptic and visits a chiropractor every three weeks, according to his owner Diana Taylor.

“Titan is magical,” Taylor noted. “He’s low-key, calm and has a wonderful demeanor about him. He gets along with all dogs, even the tiny ones.” Thank goodness for that! Titan’s bark alone must be enough to paralyze a Pomeranian. (The New York Daily News)
