“Tavi makes you think about things differently, makes you see things differently.” Budding fashionista and celebrated blogger Tavi Gevinson is so extraordinary that at the age of 13 she was granted front row seats at New York Fashion Week, and the cover of Pop magazine’s latest issue.

The pint-sized blonde from Chicago has four million fans currently following her fabulous blog Style Rookie, which she created two years ago with 1.5 million hits per month.

The site includes catwalk analysis and photos of Gevinson in odd outfits that she discovered in markets and vintage shops. To give you a better understanding of just how intelligent little Tavi is, a recent post extracted from her bat mitzvah speech reads:

“Over this past year I have become increasingly interested in clothing, and have developed a clearer understanding of the idea that clothing can be art...

“Using fashion as self-expression can go beyond wearing a shirt with a slogan, as clothing has the ability to evoke an entire feel, or atmosphere, or emotion, or world.”
