This week, Kate Moss found herself back in news headlines again after making what some health groups are calling a pro-anorexia remark to a reporter.
During an interview with the fashion website WWD, Kate was asked “Do you have a motto?” and she replied, “There are loads. There’s 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' That’s one of them.”
Kate’s off-the-cuff remark, a common inspirational saying on “pro-ana” sites, caused health advocates to slam her, condemning the comment as “dangerous” and “unhelpful” to girls and women who struggle with eating disorders, the BBC reported.
However, a representative for the supermodel has since released a statement saying that the quote was "taken out of context and completely misrepresented. For the record, Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice." (Newser)
