Last week political wife Elizabeth Edwards told WJLA-TV that she is striving to make her marriage to her unfaithful husband work.

The mother of four revealed that John Edwards has been very supportive as she carries on her fight with breast cancer, and that even though he cheated she still considers their marriage to be a “love story.”

"John said, 'Perhaps not the great love story that we hoped, but maybe a great love story nonetheless. ‘Til death do you part, because that's what I want,'" Elizabeth stated.
