Anna Nicole Smith’s lawyer-boyfriend Howard K. Stern and two of her former doctors are all due in a Los Angeles court today for a hearing on whether there is sufficient evidence to order the trio to stand trial.
All three are charged with conspiring to illegally provide Smith, who died of a drug overdose in February 2007, with controlled substances.
According to an Associated Press report, a “parade of witnesses,” including attorney general witnesses, pharmacists, drug experts, and acquaintances of Smith’s, are expected to testify against them. (Fox News)
