She didn't need to do much improvisation to make Sarah Palin say stupid things, but Tina Fey certainly nailed her numerous impersonations of Alaska's former governor on SNL, which earned her an Emmy this past Saturday at the creative arts portion of the awards show.
The televised Emmys will air live on September 20, but there were 72 people who were given awards this weekend along with Tina Fey. Upon accepting her sixth career win, Tina gave a shout out to the woman with the funniest original material when she said, "Mrs. Palin is an inspiration to working mothers everywhere because she bailed on her job right before Fourth of July weekend. You are living my dream. Thank you, Mrs. Palin!"
Also accepting an Emmy for his work on SNL was Justin Timberlake, because no one can get "Bring it on down to Homelessville" or "Jizz in My Pants" out of their heads. Funny people rock! (Yahoo!)
