Samantha Harris is trying her best not to yawn. The busy mom and host of Dancing With the Stars has been up since 4 a.m. and BettyConfidential caught up with her fresh off her exclusive three-hour interview with Jon Gosselin for her second job, The Insider. When asked for her opinion of the father-of-eight, whom much of America has grown to hate, the usually composed Samantha becomes a little unhinged: “His actions have been deplorable and despicable,” says the 35-year-old, not holding back. “To say you despise the mother of your children on national TV, knowing that one day your kids are going to be able to see that, is really horrible.”

Pulling no punches during her interview with Jon, Samantha asked the Ed Hardy-loving cad point blank about his sex life with Kate over the past few years. “He really only pointed to a couple of times they had relations,” shares Samantha. “He claims that wasn’t the reason that he wanted to leave the relationship, but I’d be shocked knowing how most men operate that that didn’t have something to do with it.” Samantha is quick to point out, however, her feelings about Jon don’t mean she’s on Team Kate, either. “She’s at fault in this as well. I don’t take the blame away from her. But gosh, a mother of eight kids, you’ve got to give her a lot of credit for just raising them. I can’t imagine she has an ounce of energy for much else — including taking care of herself.”
