Picture this. The weather outside is frightful and the fire is so delightful. You’re wearing a reindeer sweater that Grandma gave you and sipping hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows!). What could make the holidays even better? Watching one — or all — of these films. There’s a couple interesting choices in here, we know, but they’re here for a reason: they’re one of our favorites!
10. The Family Stone

Not necessarily the first flick you would think of for a list like this, especially since it wasn’t exactly a big hit when it was released a few years ago. That said, this little gem starring Diane Keaton and Sarah Jessica Parker packs a punch.

9. Love, Actually

Funny and warm, the hit film from writer-director Richard Curtis (Bridget Jones’ Diary, Four Weddings and a Funeral) makes us all want to pick up and move to London. Especially during Christmas time.
8. Scrooged

There are a lot of different interpretations of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, but this one makes the cut for two reasons: the first is, it’s really funny. The second, and much more important one is, it stars Bill Murray. ‘Nuff said.
7. Home Alone

World? Meet Macaulay Culkin. Macaulay Culkin? Meet the world.
6. A Christmas Story

“Be careful with that thing, Ralphie! You’ll shoot your eye out!” We still love watching this movie, especially when Ralphie does, indeed, hurt himself firing that much sought-after BB gun.
