"Britain’s Got Talent" phenomenon Susan Boyle, who checked into The Priory Clinic in London at the end of May, has opened up about what triggered her public freak out.

Songbird Susan Boyle claims that she had to change her telephone number after reaching celebrity status as everyone and their uncle continued to call her at all hours of the night. She also grew very uncomfortable with the hoards of television crews and paparazzi that were always outside her door.

"It was like being inside a giant pressure cooker, where the lid bubbles up and bubbles up and soon the pressure cooker goes,” Susan divulged. “Everything had built up, and I was exhausted. You have to understand, my life ceased to be normal.”

While being hounded 24/7 isn't a whole lot of fun, at least Susan got the chance to fulfill her dreams. (Showbiz Spy)
