Wedding Bells

It's the sensation of this wedding season. The "surprise" wedding dance is now bigger than the bouquet toss when it comes to nuptial rituals.

If you haven't seen the clip of Jill and Kevin's Minnesotan bridal party dancing down the aisle to the tune of Chris Brown's Forever - you're missing out on five minutes of bridal bliss. (Warning: this clip is rated HT for happy tears.)

The video, oroginally posted on YouTube (thought the groom has since removed it!), spread like wildfire before finally landing on the Today Show last week. NBC brought the entire bridal party to New York to recreate their wow-worthy walk down the aisle.

This certainly isn't the first surprise wedding dance video (check out Surprise Evolution of the Wedding Dance, Surprise Thriller Wedding Dance and Surprise Father-Daughter Wedding Dance if you just can't get enough). But it's part of a growing trend of new wedding traditions.

Which begs the question - will wedding guests now expect some sort of surprise dance on the big day? Is choreographing kitsch now another chore for harried brides to add to their to-do lists?
