Um, what?!

There should be absolutely no reason for this, but apparently Simon Monjack feels he needs to clear the air of a particular rumor – that he’s sleeping with his late wife’s mother, Sharon Murphy.

The two have been living together since Brittany Murphy passed away in December after having a heart attack in the shower. With the new close quarters, speculation has apparently been swirling (at least in Simon's head)  that mom and son-in-law have been getting busy. Gross.

Monjack dismisses the "rumors," saying, “We don’t have sex, number one. Number two, [Sharon] is a woman that has toxic neuropathy, which means she can barely walk.”

And in order to prove his point, Monjack added, “I live downstairs, she lives upstairs.”

It’s strange in the first place for this to be a legitimate concern, but Monjack’s reasoning for why they’re not having sex somehow makes it seem more likely. Funny that his explanation did not include, “That would be incestuous and wrong in every single way possible.” (The Sun)
