After the very public late night lineup debacle between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien, NBC probably lost a few of its loyal viewers. So, in what is likely an attempt to save their ratings and prove that all that fuss really amounted to something, NBC is pulling out all the stops for the debut of the new Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1.

The network has booked some of the hottest and most talked about names in music, movies, politics and sports to be the first guests on the show. On Monday, March 1, the show will kickoff with Jamie Foxx, Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, and a musical performance by Brad Paisley.

The following night, Sarah Palin will be the main attraction, accompanied by Olympic snowboarder Shaun White. Other stars that will round out the week include Kristen Stewart, the cast of Jersey Shore, Matthew McConaughey, Simon Cowell and Kim Kardashian.

NBC definitely succeeded in booking the biggest guests for the Tonight Show debut, but will team Conan supporters tune in, or have they boycotted NBC's late night lineup for good? And what genius remark will Sarah Palin make that Tina Fey can use in her next impression?  (Huffington Post)
